What do you do to stay healthy?
I try to stay healthy by taking care of my mind, body and soul.
Body: I take my daily GNC supplements, follow a healthy balanced diet and practise regular exercise.
Mind: Keep in touch with friends and family. Talk to them about how you feel as well as listening to their thoughts and emotions. Also find a brain-stimulating activity you like – I prefer reading, - and engage in it regularly.
Soul: I try to incorporate more ‘me’ time on a regular basis. Take 5 minutes every day to list the qualities that make you unique, thinking of one positive and then one negative, and try to accept that you are you; which is the best person you can be.

How much time do you spend training each day?
I train 5 times a week. I always have a 5-10 minute dynamic warm-up before any workout. My workouts usually last at least an hour, followed by a 5-10 minute cool-down/ stretching routine.

What according to you are the biggest challenges in your line of work?
One of the biggest challenges to being a trainer is working with people who are not fully committed and convincing them that we know what’s best for them and their goals. Also, time management can be a challenge in any industry.  

How do you prepare for an event/job/commitment?
I conduct a client screening and fitness assessment and then introduce individualized exercises that are based upon the client’s personal goals, skill level and needs. Also make sure that the workout is creative and effective.

How do you handle the pressure of being in the spotlight?
I try to have an overall big vision of my own values and dreams, stay true to myself, and enjoy the present as I go toward it!
